With a calm and compassionate mind and relaxed body we can live with more wisdom and peace in the present moment despite life's unpredictability and pain. I teach stress reduction through mindfulness, mindful self-compassion and other techniques to balance the body and mind - and improve one's outlook.  I teach and support individuals, groups and teams in reducing their mental, emotional and physical stress and increase their peace, energy  and skillfulness in meeting life's daily struggles.

MEET TOM FANDRE OF CLUB MINDFUL HUNTSVILLE

Tom has taught stress-reduction through mindfulness in a variety of settings for 7 years.  He teaches nurses and patients at Stanford Hospital's Cancer Center South Bay, the Los Gatos Saratoga Adult Recreation Department, Universities, Non-Profits and Corporations and privately one-on-one.  Having moved to Huntsville in 2022, he's also offering these teachings to local companies, healthcare facilities, schools and non-profits (basically anywhere there are people grappling with stress and looking for tools for better living.  Tom's a graduate of the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Professional Teacher Training Program (A.R.T. Mindful Programs), The Practicum in Mind-Body Medicine through he UMass Center for Mindfulness and the Applied Compassion Training with the Center for Compassion and Altruism Research & Education (CCARE) at Stanford University. His personal meditation practice, years of teaching and meeting the inevitable ups and downs of life, regularly informs his special delivery of mindfulness practices.  He’s passionate about sharing these powerful tools and practices that are scientifically validated to help people live with greater ease, wisdom and joy.

I teach clinically proven skills, practices and techniques embodied in the secular modality of Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR).  I teach to small groups at hospitals, schools, non-profits and  corporate settings - anywhere where people need support in living with more clarity, peace and balance.
