WELCOME TO CLUB MINDFUL LOS GATOS
With a calm and compassionate mind and relaxed body we can live with more wisdom and peace in the present moment despite external chaos. I teach stress reduction through mindfulness and self-compassion, holding the space for anyone wishing to reduce their mental, emotional and physical stress and strain.
MEET TOM FANDRE OF CLUB MINDFUL LOS GATOS:
Tom has taught stress-reduction through mindfulness in a variety of settings for 6 years. He teaches nurses and patients at Stanford's Cancer Center South Bay, the Los Gatos Saratoga Adult Recreation Department and Pivotal, a non-profit that supports young adults in and from the foster care system. He’s a graduate of the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Professional Teacher Training Program and Practicum in Mind-Body Medicine at the UMass Center for Mindfulness and the Applied Compassion Training with the Center for Compassion and Altruism Research & Education (CCARE) at Stanford University. His personal meditation practice and the inevitable struggles of life regularly inform his teaching. He’s passionate about sharing these tools that are scientifically validated to help people live with greater ease, wisdom and joy.
