WELCOME TO CLUB MINDFUL LOS GATOS
With a calm and compassionate mind and relaxed body we can live with more wisdom and peace in the present moment despite external chaos. I teach stress reduction through mindfulness and self-compassion, holding the space for anyone wishing to reduce their mental, emotional and physical stress and strain.
MEET TOM FANDRE OF CLUB MINDFUL LOS GATOS:
I teach stress reduction through mindfulness at Stanford's Cancer Clinic South Bay, the Los Gatos Saratoga Adult Recreation Department, Enlightened Meditation and Pivotal, a non-profit that supports young adults in and from the foster care system. I hold a MA in Transpersonal Psychology and have completed the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Professional Teacher Training Program and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Practicum in Mind-Body Medicine at the UMass Center for Mindfulness. I'm also a graduate of the Applied Compassion Training offered through the Center for Compassion and Altruism Research & Education (CCARE) at Stanford University. My personal practice, and regular pressures of life in the real world inform my mindfulness teaching and coaching. I am passionate about holding the space and instructing in a way that helps individuals gain their own insights into how these practices work to transform our awareness, skill and effectiveness in living a life with more peace and happiness.
MINDFUL STRESS REDUCTION AND SELF-COMPASSION TRAININGS
I teach clinically proven skills, practices and techniques embodied in the secular modality of Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. I teach in hospital, non-profit, private and corporate settings - anywhere where people are managing the pressures of modern life.
